00:00:40:21 - 00:00:43:21
Welcome back to the ANEW Body
Insight podcast.
00:00:43:21 - 00:00:47:10
We are back for the second half
of our interview with Vernon Webb
00:00:47:10 - 00:00:51:07
and Shaune Arnold
from Mind Mastery Accelerator.
00:00:51:14 - 00:00:56:16
Vernon and Shaune gave us some
really amazing insight into Silva Mind Control
00:00:56:16 - 00:01:02:09
and NLP, and we just got started
on their Mind Mastery Accelerator program.
00:01:02:16 - 00:01:06:18
I'm going to dig in and ask
a few more questions about this program.
00:01:06:23 - 00:01:08:19
We can't wait to learn more.
00:01:08:19 - 00:01:11:01
Thanks for coming back, you two.
00:01:11:01 - 00:01:12:00
Absolutely. Thank you.
00:01:12:00 - 00:01:15:12
So in the last half,
we were talking about the program,
00:01:15:19 - 00:01:20:17
and you gave us, an overview
of the initiate portion of that.
00:01:21:00 - 00:01:23:16
Can you tell us about the other?
00:01:23:16 - 00:01:26:02
There's four steps. Correct?
00:01:26:02 - 00:01:30:23
There's, initiate, apprentice, journeyman
and mind master.
00:01:30:23 - 00:01:31:14
Absolutely.
00:01:31:14 - 00:01:33:21
What about the other levels?
00:01:35:07 - 00:01:37:03
After the initiate,
00:01:37:03 - 00:01:39:05
we're talking about the apprentice.
00:01:39:05 - 00:01:42:02
The apprentice is three hours long.
00:01:42:02 - 00:01:44:21
And what makes the apprentice
so interesting is the fact
00:01:44:21 - 00:01:48:04
that it goes into more advanced
mental training.
00:01:49:04 - 00:01:51:22
You start getting comfortable
00:01:51:22 - 00:01:54:22
with being able to close your eyes.
00:01:55:05 - 00:01:58:08
You have understanding the importance
of spending time by yourself.
00:01:58:23 - 00:02:02:05
Now let's talk about you
as the entrepreneur.
00:02:03:01 - 00:02:06:01
And with the entrepreneur,
00:02:06:06 - 00:02:09:00
prime directive got to make money.
00:02:09:00 - 00:02:09:17
Mm-hmm.
00:02:10:07 - 00:02:12:17
But what's been holding you back?
00:02:12:17 - 00:02:15:00
Why is it so difficult?
00:02:15:00 - 00:02:18:00
And somewhere along the line
00:02:18:10 - 00:02:21:12
you begin to accept as a belief
00:02:21:12 - 00:02:25:04
that is true that making money is hard.
00:02:26:01 - 00:02:29:01
And do you deserve to make money?
00:02:29:18 - 00:02:34:00
And that in and of itself
is a very difficult question
00:02:34:00 - 00:02:37:00
because people can say,
well that's what I want to do.
00:02:37:04 - 00:02:38:16
But do you deserve it?
00:02:38:16 - 00:02:40:10
Well no, but that's what I want to do.
00:02:40:10 - 00:02:41:06
Yeah.
00:02:41:06 - 00:02:45:00
Or they've been taught
money is the root of all evil
00:02:45:00 - 00:02:47:23
or rich people or,
you know, the devil. Yep.
00:02:48:05 - 00:02:51:23
And that comes into play.
It becomes a part of their belief system? Yes.
00:02:52:06 - 00:02:54:07
And they just act that way. Right.
00:02:54:07 - 00:02:58:20
And once you realize that money is evil
and you're not supposed to have it,
00:02:59:06 - 00:03:03:06
then making money
becomes more challenging. Yes.
00:03:03:11 - 00:03:06:03
Because that's what you believe.
00:03:06:03 - 00:03:09:03
And so what we're looking at doing
is changing the way
00:03:09:10 - 00:03:11:16
that people look at money.
00:03:11:16 - 00:03:14:00
Money, first of all, is nothing but paper.
00:03:14:00 - 00:03:14:23
Mm-hmm.
00:03:15:07 - 00:03:16:05
It's a
00:03:16:05 - 00:03:19:05
means of getting what it is that you want.
00:03:19:14 - 00:03:23:12
But people have got their idea about money
00:03:24:02 - 00:03:26:15
as instead of being something
that they're, it's
00:03:26:15 - 00:03:27:17
close to them.
00:03:27:22 - 00:03:29:00
Yes.
00:03:29:16 - 00:03:31:12
So. Guess,
00:03:32:13 - 00:03:34:11
way out there. Right.
00:03:34:11 - 00:03:39:06
That I can’t even see the money is so far away.
So it’s certainly not in my pocket.
00:03:39:06 - 00:03:40:05
(laughter)
00:03:40:05 - 00:03:41:16
Certainly not in my pocket.
00:03:41:16 - 00:03:43:19
It's way out there
and I'll just never get.
00:03:43:19 - 00:03:47:23
Because if I run after it, it runs
faster than I do, so I'll never catch it.
00:03:48:17 - 00:03:52:05
But what we're talking about being able
to do in those three hours
00:03:52:14 - 00:03:56:05
with the apprentice training is,
first of all,
00:03:56:05 - 00:03:57:09
stop chasing it.
00:03:57:09 - 00:03:58:03
Hmm.
00:03:59:22 - 00:04:01:21
Well how am I going to get it
if I don't chase it?
00:04:01:21 - 00:04:04:03
Just stop chasing it.
00:04:04:03 - 00:04:06:21
Now how about having the money
come to you?
00:04:06:21 - 00:04:08:06
I can do that?
00:04:08:06 - 00:04:09:06
Absolutely.
00:04:09:06 - 00:04:11:15
You create
that mental picture in your mind
00:04:11:15 - 00:04:13:09
and you change your relationship to money.
00:04:13:09 - 00:04:15:20
First of all, it's not evil.
00:04:15:20 - 00:04:19:06
If something isn’t an evil, then let's have it come a little bit closer here.
00:04:19:19 - 00:04:23:02
And it is something that is going
to change your life for the good.
00:04:23:12 - 00:04:24:11
Come a little closer.
00:04:24:11 - 00:04:26:18
Let me get a little more information
about this
00:04:26:18 - 00:04:30:12
and your relationship with money changes.
00:04:30:12 - 00:04:31:01
Right.
00:04:31:01 - 00:04:34:22
And that for those
people who have businesses,
00:04:36:17 - 00:04:38:02
it is just
00:04:38:02 - 00:04:41:19
paramount that they learn
to change their relationship to money.
00:04:42:07 - 00:04:46:09
It's from going from the scarcity mindset
to the abundance mindset.
00:04:46:15 - 00:04:48:14
It is. In fact.
00:04:48:14 - 00:04:51:19
And so that's what you will teach
in the apprentice level.
00:04:52:04 - 00:04:55:02
Yes. That a few things.
00:04:55:02 - 00:04:59:20
For example
we talk about beliefs limiting beliefs.
00:04:59:20 - 00:05:02:12
And how do you change those.
00:05:02:12 - 00:05:04:10
Well you work with your value system.
00:05:04:10 - 00:05:05:06
Mm-hmm.
00:05:05:06 - 00:05:07:13
Your values are things
00:05:07:13 - 00:05:10:22
that are important to you
about a certain area of your life.
00:05:11:03 - 00:05:14:11
We in our last segment were speaking
about the wheel of Life
00:05:14:16 - 00:05:18:03
and how you're doing great
in certain areas of your life
00:05:18:07 - 00:05:21:07
and not doing great
in other areas of your life.
00:05:21:13 - 00:05:24:20
And so in the first, in the initiate,
00:05:25:06 - 00:05:29:08
program,
we are going to have them actually
00:05:29:08 - 00:05:33:06
identify an area of their life
where they're not supporting themselves.
00:05:33:13 - 00:05:37:16
And then we're going to take them through
a neuro strategic technique to help them
00:05:37:16 - 00:05:43:12
actually blow out that limiting belief
and visualize their life without it.
00:05:43:19 - 00:05:44:15
Mm-hmm.
00:05:44:15 - 00:05:48:07
When we get to the apprentice level,
it gets a little deeper
00:05:48:10 - 00:05:54:09
because we start to work with your values
and we will elicit the value structure
00:05:54:16 - 00:05:57:22
of that area of your life
that needs some more support.
00:05:58:09 - 00:06:03:11
And when you, when you elicit
your value structure and you realize
00:06:03:16 - 00:06:08:16
what your top five values are
in that area of your life,
00:06:09:08 - 00:06:13:10
you realize what's driving your behavior
in that area of your life.
00:06:13:10 - 00:06:14:03
Mm-hmm.
00:06:14:03 - 00:06:18:14
And your value structure
may not be supporting your goals.
00:06:18:17 - 00:06:20:18
Right. I'll give you an example.
00:06:20:18 - 00:06:23:17
When I first started my business,
00:06:23:17 - 00:06:27:06
as an attorney, starting my own firm,
00:06:27:12 - 00:06:30:21
I had already been a lawyer for 20 years.
00:06:31:05 - 00:06:32:20
I knew how to practice law.
00:06:32:20 - 00:06:33:08
Mm-hmm.
00:06:33:08 - 00:06:38:01
But I spent my career on the 45th floor.
00:06:38:17 - 00:06:41:16
I never had to have a value conversation
00:06:41:16 - 00:06:45:23
with a client to, to say to them
pick me over somebody else.
00:06:46:09 - 00:06:48:19
I never had to ask for the money.
00:06:48:19 - 00:06:50:03
I never had to,
00:06:52:01 - 00:06:55:06
to tell them why I was the one to choose.
00:06:55:11 - 00:06:57:08
I was on the 45th floor.
00:06:57:08 - 00:07:00:05
They knew my value
before they ever got to me.
00:07:00:05 - 00:07:05:01
So when it came time for me
to start my own law firm,
00:07:05:12 - 00:07:08:12
I had the value structure of an employee.
00:07:09:18 - 00:07:12:18
I was in so much emotional pain
00:07:13:14 - 00:07:17:22
trying to learn how to run a business.
00:07:17:22 - 00:07:21:05
And again I had been a business consultant
for 30 years.
00:07:21:07 - 00:07:24:02
I had been a business attorney
for 20 years.
00:07:24:02 - 00:07:27:23
It wasn't the skill set
that was the problem.
00:07:28:13 - 00:07:31:23
It was the mindset that was the problem.
00:07:32:04 - 00:07:36:18
It was the fact that in the area of career
and money and I elicited
00:07:37:21 - 00:07:42:04
50 nouns which which represent
00:07:42:10 - 00:07:45:21
that which is important to me
in the area of career and money.
00:07:46:09 - 00:07:48:20
Money wasn't on the list.
00:07:48:20 - 00:07:51:08
Prospecting wasn't on the list.
00:07:51:08 - 00:07:54:23
So how am I going to call the prospect
and ask for the money
00:07:55:11 - 00:07:58:11
if I don't find money important? Why?
00:07:58:11 - 00:08:01:00
Because I was a baby bird for 20 years.
00:08:01:00 - 00:08:03:03
They were feeding me paychecks.
00:08:03:03 - 00:08:04:23
I didn't spend the last one.
00:08:04:23 - 00:08:06:21
They're giving me the next one.
00:08:06:21 - 00:08:08:04
That's not to brag.
00:08:08:04 - 00:08:11:04
That's to say I didn't value money.
00:08:11:19 - 00:08:15:12
And so when I got to a point in my life
when I had to value money,
00:08:16:01 - 00:08:17:21
it just wasn't there. Right.
00:08:17:21 - 00:08:23:05
And so, fortunately for me,
I was studying NLP at the time,
00:08:23:13 - 00:08:27:11
and I was doing,
master prac, master practitioner training.
00:08:27:19 - 00:08:31:07
And my partner and I did the values work.
00:08:31:09 - 00:08:33:17
We adjusted my value structure.
00:08:33:17 - 00:08:34:18
We put.
00:08:34:18 - 00:08:37:14
Well,
you don't ever change someone's number one
00:08:37:14 - 00:08:41:01
value in any area of their life
because you'll change their personality.
00:08:41:06 - 00:08:43:07
They'll go home and divorce their spouse.
00:08:43:07 - 00:08:45:20
They'll, like, do something
wild and crazy.
00:08:45:20 - 00:08:47:13
It will change their personality.
00:08:47:13 - 00:08:49:00
So you don't change that one.
00:08:49:00 - 00:08:53:12
But we took money and prospecting
and put them in as numbers two
00:08:53:14 - 00:08:58:23
and three in my value system
with respect to career and money.
00:08:58:23 - 00:09:03:18
And I and I literally generated $5 million
00:09:05:05 - 00:09:07:14
over I think it was about 3 years.
00:09:07:14 - 00:09:08:19
I think we did it.
00:09:08:19 - 00:09:11:19
My partner and I, my, my law partner
and I,
00:09:12:07 - 00:09:16:18
I would not have been able to do that
as easily
00:09:16:20 - 00:09:20:14
if I had not had NLP in my quiver.
00:09:20:18 - 00:09:23:10
Wow. It literally saved my life.
00:09:23:10 - 00:09:28:16
It got I was face down on my kitchen
floor, unable to function,
00:09:29:05 - 00:09:32:15
and NLP got me up and going
00:09:32:20 - 00:09:38:13
and I said to my teacher, I want to
00:09:39:19 - 00:09:41:18
teach NLP.
00:09:41:18 - 00:09:46:12
I want this stuff in my bones
so completely
00:09:46:19 - 00:09:48:19
that I don't have to think about it.
00:09:48:19 - 00:09:51:14
I just, I just understand it.
00:09:51:14 - 00:09:55:21
And so if I have to teach it to you,
I'm really going to have to learn it.
00:09:56:05 - 00:09:58:22
And so that's why I started teaching NLP
00:09:58:22 - 00:10:02:16
so that I could get it
all the way in my DNA.
00:10:02:17 - 00:10:03:03
Yeah.
00:10:03:03 - 00:10:06:03
And that is what helped me
00:10:06:13 - 00:10:08:13
build that law firm. Yes.
00:10:09:07 - 00:10:13:22
Well, it certainly will help other people
build their business for sure.
00:10:14:02 - 00:10:19:15
So as we move forward in our various
programs, we will get deeper and deeper.
00:10:19:16 - 00:10:23:09
We will bring in more of the neuro
strategic techniques.
00:10:23:15 - 00:10:27:04
We will help people to identify
00:10:27:10 - 00:10:30:08
their deepest core
00:10:31:18 - 00:10:35:04
fears and traumas, and help
00:10:35:04 - 00:10:38:11
them resolve them so that they can build
the life that they want.
00:10:38:18 - 00:10:44:00
So what are some examples
of the most common limiting beliefs?
00:10:44:12 - 00:10:47:12
I would say in my psychology practice,
00:10:48:00 - 00:10:51:08
people tend to think I am not safe.
00:10:52:06 - 00:10:55:06
They tend to think I am worthless.
00:10:55:18 - 00:10:59:06
I'll never amount to anything good.
00:10:59:22 - 00:11:02:22
What are the most common that you two see?
00:11:03:08 - 00:11:06:04
You touched on a couple of them
right there.
00:11:06:04 - 00:11:11:05
And what most people don't realize
is that they can say,
00:11:11:05 - 00:11:14:05
well I'm going to I'm going to have money,
I'm going to have money.
00:11:14:05 - 00:11:17:04
And they start,
you know, trying to visualize it.
00:11:17:04 - 00:11:22:03
But what they are not aware of
is that there is a secondary gain.
00:11:22:21 - 00:11:26:01
And secondary gain
is something that is bigger
00:11:26:01 - 00:11:29:01
than the original thing
that you were programing for. For example.
00:11:29:07 - 00:11:30:12
More money.
00:11:30:12 - 00:11:34:12
But the secondary gain that is so large
says you don't deserve to have money.
00:11:34:15 - 00:11:36:13
You haven't had money up to now.
00:11:36:13 - 00:11:38:03
Nobody in your families have money.
00:11:38:03 - 00:11:39:18
What makes you any different?
00:11:39:18 - 00:11:41:09
You think you're better than they are.
00:11:41:09 - 00:11:44:09
Oh no. And then you go yeah that's right.
00:11:44:09 - 00:11:48:03
And you start moving in the opposite
direction of the forward direction
00:11:48:03 - 00:11:50:12
that you say you want
to, you know, begin to move in.
00:11:50:12 - 00:11:51:10
Right.
00:11:51:10 - 00:11:54:22
And it's interesting
because when I'm talking with my,
00:11:54:22 - 00:11:58:21
my coaching clients,
I said let me ask you a question
00:11:58:21 - 00:12:01:23
that I think I think will be help
illuminate some things.
00:12:02:14 - 00:12:04:19
Have you ever had the feeling
you were holding yourself back?
00:12:05:20 - 00:12:07:17
And they said, yeah,
00:12:07:17 - 00:12:10:05
I have, I have had that feeling.
00:12:10:05 - 00:12:13:05
I say very often? They go, yeah.
00:12:13:10 - 00:12:16:01
I said, why would you do that?
00:12:16:01 - 00:12:18:03
Why would you hold yourself back?
00:12:18:03 - 00:12:19:16
And I get two answers.
00:12:19:16 - 00:12:21:19
One is
00:12:21:19 - 00:12:23:05
I don't know.
00:12:23:05 - 00:12:24:18
And I'm like, okay.
00:12:24:18 - 00:12:27:11
And the other answer I get, is fear.
00:12:27:11 - 00:12:30:11
I said, now we can talk. Because fear
00:12:31:13 - 00:12:33:05
is mental.
00:12:33:16 - 00:12:34:13
Yes.
00:12:34:23 - 00:12:38:06
We have two fears that are natural to us.
00:12:38:21 - 00:12:40:17
One is the fear of falling.
00:12:40:17 - 00:12:42:13
And the other is a fear of loud noises.
00:12:42:13 - 00:12:44:05
We ain't big on snakes either by the way.
00:12:44:05 - 00:12:44:17
(laughter)
00:12:44:17 - 00:12:47:08
But you know those are the two. Yes.
00:12:47:08 - 00:12:51:08
And when people start looking
at those fear, I said every other fear
00:12:51:08 - 00:12:53:18
that you have you've learned.
00:12:53:18 - 00:12:54:08
Mm-hmm.
00:12:55:18 - 00:12:58:06
And it makes people stop and think oh yes.
00:12:58:06 - 00:13:00:06
What have they been told.
00:13:00:06 - 00:13:03:00
And once you start
finding out what you've been told
00:13:03:00 - 00:13:06:13
that's when you need to start
making changes internally.
00:13:06:19 - 00:13:09:19
And Silva is good at it.
00:13:10:03 - 00:13:12:05
NLP is outstanding at it.
00:13:12:05 - 00:13:14:16
Because you can get it from
just like that.
00:13:14:16 - 00:13:18:17
You can lay on a couch if you want four
years, five years, ten years whatever.
00:13:19:04 - 00:13:23:16
Or you can learn how to access that change
that you need to make.
00:13:24:02 - 00:13:25:01
Make it and say
00:13:25:01 - 00:13:27:20
and that's the way I see the world now.
00:13:27:20 - 00:13:30:08
I deserve to have the things
I want to have.
00:13:30:08 - 00:13:33:06
I want to be able to make in five years.
00:13:33:06 - 00:13:35:19
Oh shucks. $5 million.
00:13:35:19 - 00:13:36:15
Mm-hmm.
00:13:37:07 - 00:13:39:13
And then believe it. Yes.
00:13:39:13 - 00:13:42:14
I can't believe how often I recommend
00:13:42:14 - 00:13:45:23
watching this video to my clients
and everyone I know.
00:13:46:04 - 00:13:50:02
But I don't know if you've seen Jim
Carrey's commencement speech?
00:13:50:02 - 00:13:50:21
Oh yes.
00:13:50:21 - 00:13:51:19
It is
00:13:51:19 - 00:13:52:19
(laughter)
00:13:52:19 - 00:13:54:22
so powerful when you,
00:13:54:22 - 00:13:58:17
you know, break down that speech
because he basically talks
00:13:58:17 - 00:14:03:07
about every choice in life
being one of love or fear.
00:14:03:07 - 00:14:03:22
Mm-hmm.
00:14:03:22 - 00:14:07:07
And if you choose love,
you can never, ever go wrong.
00:14:07:19 - 00:14:11:20
And I think that that's at the heart
of this mindset training,
00:14:11:20 - 00:14:16:01
because fear, oh yes, is
what keeps us from achieving
00:14:16:06 - 00:14:19:15
everything that we want to achieve,
whether it's the relationship we want
00:14:19:15 - 00:14:25:06
or getting, you know, our business
as as prosperous as we want it to be.
00:14:25:15 - 00:14:29:02
It's because we have this fear
that we won't get it.
00:14:29:11 - 00:14:33:12
And it's looking at things
in terms of the worst case scenario.
00:14:34:01 - 00:14:37:03
And I always have my clients imagine.
00:14:37:03 - 00:14:38:16
Okay, well,
what is the worst case scenario?
00:14:38:16 - 00:14:41:01
What's the worst thing that can happen?
00:14:41:01 - 00:14:45:05
Now let's imagine
what is the best case scenario.
00:14:45:05 - 00:14:45:23
Mm-hmm.
00:14:45:23 - 00:14:47:08
What can happen there?
00:14:47:08 - 00:14:50:08
And when they actually open their minds
to the
00:14:50:14 - 00:14:53:04
it's a new thing for them,
then they're not used.
00:14:53:04 - 00:14:55:03
We live in a kind of a doomsday culture.
00:14:55:03 - 00:14:56:12
Doomscrolling.
00:14:56:12 - 00:14:58:07
You know, our media is so negative.
00:14:58:07 - 00:15:00:10
It's, you know, if it bleeds, it leads.
00:15:00:10 - 00:15:05:01
And so we're we're kind of conditioned
to go immediately to worst case scenario.
00:15:05:01 - 00:15:08:07
But I encourage everyone
to go to the best case scenario
00:15:08:07 - 00:15:13:12
because that's where you're actually
going to achieve what you want to achieve.
00:15:13:18 - 00:15:16:00
And that sounds like, exactly.
00:15:16:00 - 00:15:17:00
That's this program.
00:15:17:00 - 00:15:18:07
Mind Mastery Accelerator.
00:15:18:07 - 00:15:20:20
So journeyman goes that step further.
00:15:21:19 - 00:15:23:19
What's the step?
00:15:23:19 - 00:15:24:19
Don't give it all away.
00:15:24:19 - 00:15:28:03
I know you want people to come,
but give us a give us a taste.
00:15:28:03 - 00:15:29:11
Journeyman.
00:15:29:20 - 00:15:33:21
Imagine being able to combine
00:15:33:21 - 00:15:36:22
NLP and Silva together, closely.
00:15:37:13 - 00:15:38:19
Mmm.
00:15:40:04 - 00:15:41:17
What could you do?
00:15:41:17 - 00:15:44:21
Because Silva will teach you
how to perceive information
00:15:45:09 - 00:15:47:13
through
other than the five physical senses.
00:15:47:13 - 00:15:47:21
Right.
00:15:47:21 - 00:15:52:11
Which in and of itself
is extremely powerful.
00:15:52:11 - 00:15:57:12
Yes. In fact, when the Silva grads
learned that they can do that,
00:15:58:03 - 00:16:02:10
we caution them about telling their family
and their friends.
00:16:02:10 - 00:16:06:07
Is now when you go out, work
these cases, you've got an ism.
00:16:06:07 - 00:16:07:21
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:16:07:21 - 00:16:11:01
I think twice before you tell somebody
because they're [sic] lible fit you
00:16:11:01 - 00:16:12:18
for a straight suit.
00:16:12:18 - 00:16:18:05
You can tell me about somebody in New York
and what is wrong with them.
00:16:18:11 - 00:16:22:03
And you know how to mentally
and emotionally send them
00:16:22:16 - 00:16:26:22
healing health and affect
that person's health.
00:16:27:11 - 00:16:29:20
Well, yeah. No you can't. Just
00:16:31:01 - 00:16:32:08
trying to tell you.
00:16:32:08 - 00:16:34:13
So just kind of keep it to yourself.
00:16:34:13 - 00:16:37:03
But the mind is that powerful.
00:16:37:03 - 00:16:38:04
Mm-hmm.
00:16:38:09 - 00:16:40:17
And like a muscle
00:16:40:17 - 00:16:44:05
the more you use it
the stronger it gets. Yes.
00:16:44:12 - 00:16:48:15
And so that's where we're going to be
taking those who have come through
00:16:48:15 - 00:16:53:10
the classifications starting
with the initiate going to the apprentice,
00:16:53:10 - 00:16:56:09
going to the journeyman
and then the mind master.
00:16:56:09 - 00:16:57:11
Mm-hmm.
00:16:57:22 - 00:17:01:02
Energy follows thought. Yes.
00:17:03:03 - 00:17:04:03
It's important.
00:17:04:03 - 00:17:07:03
Absolutely. Energy follows thought.
00:17:07:04 - 00:17:09:03
What goes around.
00:17:09:03 - 00:17:10:13
Comes around.
00:17:10:13 - 00:17:14:16
And when I've talked with my students
about that, when I was lecturing for Silva,
00:17:15:12 - 00:17:18:02
I said, what goes around comes around.
00:17:18:02 - 00:17:21:02
If what goes around is positive
00:17:21:08 - 00:17:24:18
and loving,
what's going to come around is the energy
00:17:24:18 - 00:17:30:04
that is positive and loving in the form
of positive situations.
00:17:30:09 - 00:17:32:12
Yes. And positive people,
00:17:32:12 - 00:17:37:01
if what goes around is of a negative
nature, what is going to come around
00:17:37:07 - 00:17:42:18
is going to be negativity and problems
in the form of negative situations.
00:17:42:18 - 00:17:44:19
Why is this always happening to me
00:17:44:19 - 00:17:47:19
or negative people
that want to try and put you down?
00:17:48:12 - 00:17:52:01
So the best thing for you
to do is decide what you want
00:17:53:00 - 00:17:55:22
and not allow that to take over your life,
00:17:55:22 - 00:17:58:22
because no matter what you do, what you,
00:18:00:06 - 00:18:01:17
is going to come around.
00:18:01:17 - 00:18:04:05
Every day and in every way.
00:18:04:05 - 00:18:07:05
And getting better at it and. Better.
00:18:07:15 - 00:18:09:15
That is from Silva Mind Control.
00:18:09:15 - 00:18:10:03
Yes it is.
00:18:10:03 - 00:18:14:11
And it's something that you're supposed
to practice on a regular basis.
00:18:14:20 - 00:18:19:02
And when you do enter
into that positive mindset,
00:18:19:02 - 00:18:19:20
Mm-hmm.
00:18:19:20 - 00:18:23:20
you just naturally attract
and bring into your life
00:18:24:04 - 00:18:27:16
people, situations, money
that help support that.
00:18:28:08 - 00:18:31:13
What I think people need to be aware of,
because I've talked
00:18:31:13 - 00:18:34:13
to a lot of people who say, oh,
I meditate.
00:18:34:21 - 00:18:37:02
I'm like, really great.
00:18:37:02 - 00:18:38:13
How often do you meditate?
00:18:38:13 - 00:18:41:06
Once or twice a week. I go, hmm.
00:18:41:06 - 00:18:42:19
How long do you meditate for?
00:18:42:19 - 00:18:45:03
Oh about 5 minutes, maybe 10.
00:18:46:17 - 00:18:48:13
Once or twice a week.
00:18:48:13 - 00:18:49:22
5 or 10 minutes.
00:18:49:22 - 00:18:53:09
And were you looking for change or are you
just relaxing your body in your mind?
00:18:53:14 - 00:18:55:02
No, no, I want to change in. And
00:18:56:04 - 00:18:57:14
you're going to have to make some changes.
00:18:57:14 - 00:18:58:01
Yeah.
00:18:58:01 - 00:19:00:23
This has got to be an everyday thing
for you. Yep.
00:19:00:23 - 00:19:02:06
If you want to see
00:19:02:06 - 00:19:05:07
if you were working at the gym,
if you at the gym and you want to build
00:19:05:07 - 00:19:09:03
muscles. You go on Monday and Wednesday,
your not looking for muscles already.
00:19:09:09 - 00:19:11:14
It's like you just got started, you just started Monday.
00:19:11:14 - 00:19:14:01
It's got to go over and over.
00:19:14:08 - 00:19:17:03
Spaced repetition. Yes. Is the way that we learn.
00:19:17:03 - 00:19:18:17
Yes, yes.
00:19:18:17 - 00:19:20:02
This is what I teach my clients.
00:19:20:02 - 00:19:21:22
This is what I do for myself.
00:19:21:22 - 00:19:24:22
I make sure I have my morning session.
00:19:24:22 - 00:19:29:09
I make sure I have my afternoon session,
and I have my session before I go to bed.
00:19:29:18 - 00:19:32:14
And it's profoundly changed my life.
00:19:32:14 - 00:19:36:08
And really helped me achieve things
that I never thought I could achieve.
00:19:37:07 - 00:19:40:06
So, I'm all for this.
00:19:40:06 - 00:19:44:08
One of the things that I enjoy,
and this is where I, really
00:19:44:08 - 00:19:45:00
get a little,
00:19:45:00 - 00:19:47:08
(breathes heavily)
00:19:47:08 - 00:19:48:04
I don't like to say,
00:19:48:04 - 00:19:48:22
cocky.
00:19:48:22 - 00:19:49:17
(laughter)
00:19:49:17 - 00:19:51:16
Confident.
00:19:51:16 - 00:19:52:10
Extremely.
00:19:52:10 - 00:19:53:23
(laughter)
00:19:53:23 - 00:19:55:02
Assured.
00:19:55:02 - 00:19:55:22
Very.
00:19:55:22 - 00:19:56:23
(laughter)
00:19:57:01 - 00:20:00:01
I said if I were to put together
00:20:00:15 - 00:20:04:18
two parts of hydrogen and one part of
oxygen, what are the chances I get water?
00:20:05:23 - 00:20:07:15
And I said, very good.
00:20:07:15 - 00:20:08:22
I said, would you bet against me?
00:20:08:22 - 00:20:10:09
They go, no.
00:20:10:09 - 00:20:11:18
I said, why?
00:20:12:16 - 00:20:14:17
Because it's a formula.
00:20:14:17 - 00:20:17:07
If you do this
and this that's going to happen.
00:20:17:07 - 00:20:18:09
Really? Really.
00:20:18:09 - 00:20:21:06
If you do this in this,
that's going to happen.
00:20:21:06 - 00:20:24:13
When you take the time
to slow your brainwave levels down
00:20:25:00 - 00:20:28:12
and learn how to create the necessary
mental pictures,
00:20:28:16 - 00:20:29:21
that's going to change your life.
00:20:29:21 - 00:20:30:14
Mm-hmm.
00:20:30:14 - 00:20:33:00
It's a formula. It has to happen.
00:20:33:00 - 00:20:37:20
So I like to say I can guarantee it if you
do the things that I tell you to do,
00:20:38:04 - 00:20:42:03
I can guarantee you will take your life
to another level of success.
00:20:43:01 - 00:20:44:06
I love this.
00:20:44:06 - 00:20:46:10
And on a practical level,
00:20:46:10 - 00:20:50:22
while you build that confidence
through these mindfulness techniques,
00:20:51:08 - 00:20:54:14
we're going to be giving them
some very practical trainings
00:20:54:22 - 00:20:57:14
that they can put to use
in their business.
00:20:57:14 - 00:20:59:15
He's an executive coach.
00:20:59:15 - 00:21:01:05
An executive performance coach.
00:21:01:05 - 00:21:02:17
I'm a business attorney.
00:21:02:17 - 00:21:05:12
So we will be sharing with them,
00:21:05:12 - 00:21:10:01
for example,
how to be a more effective communicator.
00:21:10:01 - 00:21:14:15
How to speak into someone's listening.
00:21:14:21 - 00:21:16:03
What does that mean?
00:21:16:03 - 00:21:18:18
That means that people enjoy
00:21:18:18 - 00:21:21:18
receiving information in a certain way.
00:21:22:00 - 00:21:24:14
Some people want to see the information.
00:21:24:14 - 00:21:27:02
Some people want to hear the information.
00:21:27:02 - 00:21:32:12
Some people just want you to make them
feel good about the information.
00:21:32:12 - 00:21:34:19
Other people need the data.
00:21:34:19 - 00:21:38:06
I am auditory, digital. I need the data.
00:21:38:06 - 00:21:41:03
If you don't give me the numbers,
you're going to lose me.
00:21:41:03 - 00:21:41:12
Yeah.
00:21:41:12 - 00:21:45:03
And so each of us has a preferred
00:21:46:02 - 00:21:47:03
method or
00:21:47:03 - 00:21:50:17
mode in
which we like to receive information.
00:21:51:00 - 00:21:55:13
And if we are in business
and we are approaching our prospects
00:21:55:20 - 00:21:58:22
in the way
that we like to receive information,
00:21:59:08 - 00:22:02:08
we're missing about 75% of the people out
there.
00:22:02:11 - 00:22:06:03
We're not speaking into their listening.
00:22:06:09 - 00:22:10:21
We're not presenting the information
in the way that they like to receive it.
00:22:11:03 - 00:22:17:00
So we're going to show them,
how do you peg somebody who's visual?
00:22:17:16 - 00:22:20:00
How do you peg somebody
who's kinesthetic?
00:22:20:00 - 00:22:22:10
What kind of words do they use?
00:22:22:10 - 00:22:23:18
How do they breathe?
00:22:23:18 - 00:22:25:18
How do they stand?
00:22:25:18 - 00:22:28:13
How do they, like if you move in
00:22:28:13 - 00:22:31:08
on someone who has auditory digital
they're going to back up.
00:22:31:08 - 00:22:31:18
Right.
00:22:31:18 - 00:22:34:16
If you move in on someone
who's kinesthetic
00:22:34:16 - 00:22:35:22
they're going
to move in closer.
00:22:35:22 - 00:22:36:17
What am I?
00:22:36:17 - 00:22:37:15
(laughter)
00:22:37:15 - 00:22:38:15
I think you're visual.
00:22:38:15 - 00:22:39:15
I totally am. Yeah.
00:22:39:15 - 00:22:41:01
Ha ha, she got it.
00:22:41:01 - 00:22:41:13
(laughter)
00:22:41:13 - 00:22:42:10
I am.
00:22:42:10 - 00:22:44:23
Yes, yes. Colors.
00:22:44:23 - 00:22:48:13
And and the way you present
is very important to you.
00:22:48:13 - 00:22:49:06
Huh.
00:22:49:06 - 00:22:49:21
Yeah.
00:22:49:21 - 00:22:51:00
Very visual.
00:22:51:11 - 00:22:52:21
Very interesting.
00:22:53:06 - 00:22:56:20
But, I suspect that
auditory digital’s in there too because your a doctor.
00:22:56:20 - 00:22:57:19
Not the numbers.
00:22:57:19 - 00:22:59:04
And that's my husband.
00:22:59:04 - 00:23:01:06
I am. Don't talk numbers.
00:23:01:06 - 00:23:02:20
But the data, the data.
00:23:02:20 - 00:23:05:20
The information
because, yes, information is more than numbers.
00:23:05:21 - 00:23:08:16
That's true.
Everything is information. Yes.
00:23:08:16 - 00:23:12:03
And so the way we process
that information. Yes.
00:23:12:05 - 00:23:14:03
It's very personal to us.
00:23:14:03 - 00:23:16:17
But if we're trying to do business
with somebody,
00:23:16:17 - 00:23:19:07
then we need to understand that person.
00:23:19:07 - 00:23:19:19
Mm-hmm.
00:23:19:19 - 00:23:22:12
How they like to receive information
00:23:22:12 - 00:23:25:18
and how best to communicate to them.
00:23:26:00 - 00:23:30:16
There are six components
to effectively communicating with someone.
00:23:30:16 - 00:23:31:06
What are they?
00:23:31:06 - 00:23:32:04
Well,
00:23:32:20 - 00:23:33:17
Lay it on us.
00:23:33:17 - 00:23:34:22
Sign up for my Mastery Accelerator
00:23:34:22 - 00:23:37:07
Oh, man. Okay.
00:23:37:07 - 00:23:38:05
Well, give us one.
00:23:38:05 - 00:23:39:11
Air.
00:23:39:11 - 00:23:41:07
Air. Yes. Air.
00:23:43:09 - 00:23:44:17
Water, for example.
00:23:44:17 - 00:23:46:14
Water. Being curious.
00:23:46:14 - 00:23:48:09
Air being,
00:23:49:07 - 00:23:50:06
light.
00:23:50:06 - 00:23:51:10
You know,
00:23:52:10 - 00:23:54:01
Fire lighting some.
00:23:54:01 - 00:23:56:17
Making someone passionate.
00:23:56:17 - 00:24:01:18
There are different,
components, different ways to communicate
00:24:01:18 - 00:24:06:15
with someone, to get to elicit
different responses from them.
00:24:06:23 - 00:24:10:04
So 97% of
00:24:10:20 - 00:24:13:19
of our communication is nonverbal.
00:24:13:19 - 00:24:14:20
Mm-hmm.
00:24:14:20 - 00:24:19:04
In order to really get somebody
to move off of their wallet,
00:24:20:00 - 00:24:22:20
you're going to have to
you're going to have to get below
00:24:22:20 - 00:24:25:22
that 3% of verbal communication.
00:24:26:06 - 00:24:29:18
You're going to have to become
more curious.
00:24:30:01 - 00:24:33:00
You're going to have to get to know
their wants,
00:24:33:00 - 00:24:36:15
their needs,
their criteria, their emotions.
00:24:36:17 - 00:24:41:06
When you can elicit these things from them
and then connect your product
00:24:41:06 - 00:24:45:20
or your service to it and then feed it
back to them as a solution.
00:24:46:10 - 00:24:48:14
You're going to get their wallet. Yeah.
00:24:48:14 - 00:24:50:22
Oh well this is going to be fast.
00:24:50:22 - 00:24:54:17
What we’re really talking about here
is the ability to persuade. Yes.
00:24:57:00 - 00:24:57:18
Go on.
00:24:57:18 - 00:25:00:05
That’s all sales is all about,
00:25:00:05 - 00:25:02:05
you are persuading someone
00:25:02:13 - 00:25:05:18
to purchase
your your goods or your services.
00:25:06:03 - 00:25:08:21
So how do you persuade
when you find out how they talk, how
00:25:08:21 - 00:25:11:21
they like to receive their information.
00:25:12:10 - 00:25:14:21
Once you know
how to receive their information
00:25:14:21 - 00:25:17:21
you start paying closer
attention to their body language.
00:25:17:23 - 00:25:21:06
Do they speak with their hands or do they,
you know just
00:25:22:11 - 00:25:23:15
put the hand over their mouth.
00:25:23:15 - 00:25:28:01
I mean all of this is part
and parcel of being persuasive.
00:25:28:17 - 00:25:33:01
For those people
who are in the business of making money
00:25:34:08 - 00:25:36:03
and being persuasive,
00:25:37:08 - 00:25:38:19
those are ones that need to be there.
00:25:38:19 - 00:25:39:13
Absolutely.
00:25:39:13 - 00:25:42:22
You use your sensory acuity
as you're speaking with someone.
00:25:43:02 - 00:25:44:01
Mm-hmm.
00:25:44:01 - 00:25:46:00
Look at their coloring.
00:25:46:00 - 00:25:47:18
Is their coloring,
00:25:47:18 - 00:25:49:15
are they going red.
00:25:49:15 - 00:25:51:20
Are their lips starting to thin.
00:25:51:20 - 00:25:54:20
Is their eyes.
Are their eyes glazing over.
00:25:55:01 - 00:25:56:10
Are they checking their watch.
00:25:56:10 - 00:26:01:15
I mean how are they receiving
the information that you're giving them.
00:26:01:17 - 00:26:02:14
Right.
00:26:02:14 - 00:26:07:12
So it's it's there's there's a lot
to establishing rapport with someone.
00:26:07:16 - 00:26:10:06
Yes. Mirroring and matching them.
00:26:10:06 - 00:26:11:16
Matching their tone.
00:26:14:11 - 00:26:15:20
It's there's a lot.
00:26:15:20 - 00:26:19:19
And we're
going to over the course of a year.
00:26:20:07 - 00:26:22:15
That's how long the entire program is.
00:26:22:15 - 00:26:27:09
We're going to give you all of these,
all 26, processes
00:26:27:09 - 00:26:32:14
from NLP and all of the mindfulness
trainings from Silva.
00:26:32:14 - 00:26:34:13
We're going to bring them all together.
00:26:34:13 - 00:26:39:02
They they fit so beautifully together.
00:26:39:05 - 00:26:40:20
And then I'm just excited.
00:26:40:20 - 00:26:42:01
I'm excited to.
00:26:42:01 - 00:26:43:19
To bring this program to people.
00:26:43:19 - 00:26:49:06
Well, before we open up for questions
in the audience, how do people find you?
00:26:49:11 - 00:26:52:03
What is your website?
00:26:52:03 - 00:26:55:21
What are your social media handles
so that people can follow you
00:26:56:05 - 00:26:57:16
and start to work with you?
00:26:57:16 - 00:27:05:11
They can go to www.MindMaster, MindMasteryAccelerator.com.
00:27:05:11 - 00:27:07:09
All one word. Yes. All one word.
00:27:07:09 - 00:27:10:12
Accelerator 1LOR.
00:27:10:12 - 00:27:13:02
(laughter)
00:27:13:02 - 00:27:14:01
Dot com.
00:27:14:01 - 00:27:20:04
And take a look at our programs and,
join us on the 14th.
00:27:20:04 - 00:27:24:07
And we've already chosen January 23rd
as our,
00:27:24:16 - 00:27:27:19
apprentice program,
the three hour program.
00:27:27:19 - 00:27:30:20
And then the
the journeyman program will be in March.
00:27:30:22 - 00:27:34:23
It will be three days
where we start to really go deep.
00:27:35:11 - 00:27:37:23
And then in June, we begin a three month
00:27:37:23 - 00:27:41:19
mastermind to teach you how to be a mind master.
00:27:41:19 - 00:27:42:13
I love it.
00:27:42:13 - 00:27:44:10
And this is all at City Club.
00:27:44:10 - 00:27:46:18
No the three day will not be here.
00:27:46:18 - 00:27:50:08
And the
the three month will not be here but
00:27:50:18 - 00:27:54:07
in January
the 3 hour program will be at City Club.
00:27:54:07 - 00:27:57:01
And if they cannot be
a part of the program
00:27:57:01 - 00:28:02:03
but want to work with you, do you,
do individual coaching for people?
00:28:02:11 - 00:28:04:04
We do coaching, yes.
00:28:04:04 - 00:28:08:09
I can be found
on on LinkedIn quite easily.
00:28:09:18 - 00:28:11:14
Vernon Webb speaker.
00:28:11:14 - 00:28:13:01
With two B’s.
00:28:13:01 - 00:28:14:13
With two B’s. Oh thank you.
00:28:14:13 - 00:28:15:10
With two B’s.
00:28:16:02 - 00:28:20:03
And also you can find me on our website
00:28:20:13 - 00:28:22:15
MindMasteryAccelerator.com.
00:28:22:22 - 00:28:23:15
Yes.
00:28:24:07 - 00:28:27:22
Well I'm so glad I found you both
because you are so fascinating.
00:28:28:04 - 00:28:32:15
And I've really always wanted
to pick people's brains on NLP.
00:28:32:15 - 00:28:35:00
And Silva and I got it in one session.
00:28:35:00 - 00:28:35:16
I couldn't believe it.
00:28:35:16 - 00:28:38:02
I was like, what? Okay,
this is meant to be.
00:28:38:02 - 00:28:41:02
And it's the way
social media is all my name.
00:28:41:02 - 00:28:44:22
S-H-A-U-N-E Shaune Arnold A-R-N-O-L-D
00:28:44:22 - 00:28:47:08
Okay. At Shaune Arnold everywhere.
00:28:47:08 - 00:28:48:08
All right.
00:28:48:08 - 00:28:51:12
We would love to get some questions
from the audience.
00:28:51:12 - 00:28:53:03
Don't be shy.
00:28:53:03 - 00:28:56:04
If you have something
you want to pick their brains.
00:28:56:04 - 00:28:56:18
Come on up.
00:28:56:18 - 00:28:59:01
The microphone is right there.
00:28:59:01 - 00:29:00:20
And don't.
00:29:00:20 - 00:29:02:11
Don't be shy at all.
00:29:02:11 - 00:29:03:20
Yay! We have one.
00:29:05:04 - 00:29:05:20
Thank you very much.
00:29:05:20 - 00:29:07:22
I have a question, actually,
for each of you.
00:29:09:11 - 00:29:11:12
Vernon, you mentioned that there are more
00:29:11:12 - 00:29:15:03
than one way
to access the subconscious mind.
00:29:15:14 - 00:29:18:00
What is another way?
00:29:18:00 - 00:29:20:00
Another way
to access the subconscious mind,
00:29:20:00 - 00:29:23:23
and which would probably be a
an even better question for Shaune,
00:29:24:05 - 00:29:29:08
I would tell you, learn to slow
your brainwave levels down, all right.
00:29:29:17 - 00:29:35:07
And establish a line of communication
between the conscious and subconscious.
00:29:36:03 - 00:29:39:20
Now, the other way that you can access
the subconscious mind
00:29:40:10 - 00:29:43:10
is through NLP,
00:29:43:18 - 00:29:47:21
because it doesn't require you
to slow your brainwave levels down.
00:29:48:04 - 00:29:52:13
It's a series of processes,
but it is extremely powerful
00:29:52:18 - 00:29:55:04
and extremely effective.
00:29:55:04 - 00:29:58:19
Yes, they are the 26 processes
that I mentioned.
00:29:59:10 - 00:30:03:20
They work at the level
of the subconscious mind.
00:30:03:20 - 00:30:05:23
(laughter)
00:30:05:23 - 00:30:07:10
And so that's that's
00:30:07:10 - 00:30:11:11
why Silva Mind Control
and NLP are so beautiful together,
00:30:11:15 - 00:30:15:17
because they both work
at the level of the subconscious mind.
00:30:16:01 - 00:30:20:00
And I think just to clarify, two
for for people like they're like
00:30:20:08 - 00:30:23:03
how do you slow your brain waves down.
00:30:23:03 - 00:30:25:16
Oftentimes
that's like a meditative technique.
00:30:25:16 - 00:30:26:08
It is.
00:30:26:08 - 00:30:32:05
You can, you know, just start by lying
or sitting down, slowing your breathing.
00:30:32:06 - 00:30:34:05
You can even count out your breathing.
00:30:34:05 - 00:30:35:16
Or there's even a countdown
00:30:35:16 - 00:30:39:11
method with Silva
where I think you go from 100 down to one.
00:30:39:16 - 00:30:43:20
You can also make that shorter,
as you really understand
00:30:44:03 - 00:30:47:06
when you are, you know, coming out of,
00:30:47:14 - 00:30:51:05
the Beta waves and into Alpha.
00:30:51:06 - 00:30:52:00
Is that right?
00:30:52:00 - 00:30:52:19
That’s true.
00:30:52:19 - 00:30:56:00
You start to relax more
and you start to understand,
00:30:56:00 - 00:30:58:23
you know, when you're in that level
that you still have consciousness,
00:30:59:08 - 00:31:03:17
but you are
relaxed. It’s kind of the next step below
00:31:03:17 - 00:31:08:11
that in terms of brainwaves,
would be a really deep meditative state.
00:31:08:21 - 00:31:10:16
And then below that would be sleep.
00:31:10:16 - 00:31:14:04
So it's really about kind of finding
the fine line
00:31:14:13 - 00:31:18:21
to be able to be relaxed enough,
but conscious and aware.
00:31:19:04 - 00:31:23:07
When we are in our conscious
problem-solving mind,
00:31:24:05 - 00:31:25:06
we are in Beta.
00:31:25:06 - 00:31:26:02
Mm-hmm.
00:31:26:02 - 00:31:27:01
When we
00:31:27:01 - 00:31:31:00
slow our
breathing and this is how I studied,
00:31:31:04 - 00:31:34:00
I had no idea
what I was doing was meditating,
00:31:34:00 - 00:31:37:00
but I knew I had to sit for 11 hours
with a law book.
00:31:37:05 - 00:31:39:07
I needed to slow my heartbeat,
00:31:39:07 - 00:31:41:08
I needed to slow my breathing,
00:31:41:08 - 00:31:44:15
I needed to slow
all of my physical processes down.
00:31:44:23 - 00:31:47:23
So that I could focus on the written word.
00:31:48:05 - 00:31:48:12
Yeah.
00:31:48:12 - 00:31:53:14
Once you do, once you get down there,
you go into Alpha, then you go through
00:31:53:14 - 00:31:56:18
to Theta and children spend
00:31:56:18 - 00:31:59:17
the first seven years
of their lives in Theta.
00:32:00:01 - 00:32:03:00
That's why you're all you're doing
is downloading.
00:32:03:00 - 00:32:05:14
If somebody tells you you're beautiful,
you believe it.
00:32:05:14 - 00:32:08:14
If somebody tells you you're stupid,
you believe it.
00:32:08:14 - 00:32:12:15
If somebody tells you you're not worthy,
you believe it, and then you grow up.
00:32:12:15 - 00:32:17:14
We were speaking with a gentleman,
a couple of weeks ago, and he was talking
00:32:17:14 - 00:32:21:04
about the fact that he was having trouble
making phone calls.
00:32:21:09 - 00:32:24:09
And so I asked him, well,
what did you hear
00:32:24:09 - 00:32:27:09
when you were a little boy
over and over again?
00:32:27:09 - 00:32:30:16
And all of a sudden he blurted out,
it's my money.
00:32:30:19 - 00:32:33:08
I'll give it to you when I want to.
00:32:33:08 - 00:32:38:06
And then he stopped, and he looked at me,
and tears filled his eyes.
00:32:38:11 - 00:32:44:21
He he he didn't know what that conversation was until it came out of his mouth.
00:32:44:21 - 00:32:45:18
Hmm.
00:32:45:18 - 00:32:47:05
That's the power,
00:32:47:05 - 00:32:48:04
yes, of NLP.
00:32:48:16 - 00:32:51:07
Hopefully that answers your question.
00:32:51:15 - 00:32:53:17
Of accessing your subconscious mind.
00:32:53:17 - 00:32:56:12
That was excellent. Thank you very much.
00:32:56:12 - 00:32:57:21
And Shaune, a question for you.
00:32:57:21 - 00:33:02:08
You mentioned in NLP
to learn our own motivations.
00:33:02:22 - 00:33:06:23
What is one of your favorite ways
to learn someone's motivations?
00:33:08:12 - 00:33:12:07
To listen to the words that they use.
00:33:12:08 - 00:33:16:10
If someone is talking to you about
00:33:17:00 - 00:33:19:11
building a business, for example,
00:33:19:11 - 00:33:24:07
and they say, well, I, I,
I ought to build this business,
00:33:24:17 - 00:33:28:01
I should build this business.
00:33:28:01 - 00:33:31:03
I, I can't get started.
00:33:31:06 - 00:33:34:02
I have to find money.
00:33:34:02 - 00:33:38:22
Like, there are all of these words
that they're using that tell you
00:33:39:14 - 00:33:44:13
that there are some presuppositions
in place, where they,
00:33:44:20 - 00:33:47:20
they have made certain decisions
00:33:47:21 - 00:33:51:12
about their circumstance that
00:33:52:12 - 00:33:55:12
could use some tweaking. Yes.
00:33:55:19 - 00:34:02:18
If they're if
if they are motivated towards something
00:34:03:03 - 00:34:07:08
that is very different
than being motivated away from something.
00:34:07:11 - 00:34:12:04
Oprah Winfrey was interviewed
on the red carpet
00:34:12:04 - 00:34:15:01
and the gentleman asked her,
why do you do it?
00:34:15:01 - 00:34:17:22
And she said, why do I do what? Workout?
00:34:17:22 - 00:34:20:22
And he said, oh, I was going to ask you
00:34:20:23 - 00:34:24:22
why you work so hard,
why you you build this legacy.
00:34:24:22 - 00:34:28:22
And she said, oh, I work
because I have a dream,
00:34:29:07 - 00:34:32:02
because I want to do for humanity.
00:34:32:02 - 00:34:34:08
And she spoke in very expensive terms
00:34:34:08 - 00:34:37:20
about about the, the legacy
that she was building for herself.
00:34:38:02 - 00:34:40:04
And he said, well, okay.
00:34:40:04 - 00:34:43:06
Well, since you brought it up,
why do you work out?
00:34:43:14 - 00:34:46:21
And she said,
because I don't want a fat butt.
00:34:47:13 - 00:34:49:06
Oh my goodness.
00:34:49:06 - 00:34:51:11
Now think about Oprah Winfrey.
00:34:51:11 - 00:34:52:06
Oh boy.
00:34:52:09 - 00:34:55:16
Think about the legacy
that she has built for herself.
00:34:55:17 - 00:34:58:11
This woman is a billionaire.
00:34:58:11 - 00:35:01:11
And think about her weight.
00:35:01:15 - 00:35:04:23
Think about the struggle
that she's gone through with her weight.
00:35:05:07 - 00:35:07:20
She moves toward her legacy.
00:35:07:20 - 00:35:10:03
She moves away from her fat butt.
00:35:12:13 - 00:35:15:14
And so now you see why she struggles.
00:35:15:18 - 00:35:16:13
Oh, yeah.
00:35:16:13 - 00:35:19:23
So NLP will actually help you change
00:35:20:03 - 00:35:24:11
your motivation
from, rather than moving away from a fat butt,
00:35:24:11 - 00:35:27:09
you're moving towards
a strong body. Yes.
00:35:27:13 - 00:35:32:17
So when you're moving away from a fat
butt eventually you're going to slim down
00:35:32:17 - 00:35:36:05
enough and you'll go,
oh, I no longer have a fat butt.
00:35:36:10 - 00:35:39:08
And then you're going to start eating.
00:35:39:08 - 00:35:39:21
But if.
00:35:39:21 - 00:35:42:12
We could talk about this for days,
considering this is my
00:35:42:12 - 00:35:44:13
area of expertise.
00:35:44:13 - 00:35:46:14
Yes that is true.
00:35:46:14 - 00:35:50:11
And I will say that, a lot of clients
00:35:50:11 - 00:35:53:17
will actually say to me like,
I have to do this.
00:35:53:17 - 00:35:57:03
I have to work out or, you know, I, I'm,
00:35:57:11 - 00:36:00:11
you know, forcing myself into this body.
00:36:00:11 - 00:36:03:01
And I, and I have them reframe that.
00:36:03:01 - 00:36:05:18
And this is a part of shifting people's
mindset.
00:36:05:18 - 00:36:08:11
I'm like, what if you get to.
00:36:08:11 - 00:36:10:23
What if it's something that you get to do?
00:36:10:23 - 00:36:16:05
How does that inform how you're
going to approach taking care of your body
00:36:16:19 - 00:36:21:09
and becomes an act of self-care,
as opposed to punishing yourself
00:36:21:12 - 00:36:24:12
for your last night's
meal, which will never, ever
00:36:24:19 - 00:36:28:08
like she said,
especially in Oprah's had this struggle.
00:36:28:16 - 00:36:31:01
Now she's,
you know, on weight loss medication.
00:36:31:01 - 00:36:34:05
So it's a little bit less of a problem
unless she gets off that weight
00:36:34:05 - 00:36:35:17
loss medication.
00:36:35:17 - 00:36:38:09
She, you know, has this,
00:36:38:09 - 00:36:41:10
fight against her body.
00:36:41:21 - 00:36:45:10
And many people fight
when they're trying to diet.
00:36:45:19 - 00:36:50:18
And I encourage people
to stop dieting completely
00:36:50:18 - 00:36:56:00
because it's totally pointless
and start to tune into your body.
00:36:56:00 - 00:36:59:16
And when you do that, it's a loving act.
00:36:59:16 - 00:37:01:10
It is not a hateful act.
00:37:01:10 - 00:37:04:06
It's like, hello body, I love you.
00:37:04:06 - 00:37:05:13
What do you want today.
00:37:05:13 - 00:37:08:16
In your current condition
I love you. Yes.
00:37:08:17 - 00:37:10:01
I don't love you tomorrow.
00:37:10:01 - 00:37:12:19
I love you as you. After you no longer
have that fat butt.
00:37:12:19 - 00:37:14:13
I love your fat butt.
00:37:14:13 - 00:37:16:12
I love everything about you.
00:37:16:12 - 00:37:17:00
(laughter)
00:37:17:00 - 00:37:20:00
And it helps you embrace
00:37:20:06 - 00:37:25:20
changing in, you know, a more effective,
sustainable way.
00:37:25:21 - 00:37:30:06
It's not about like,
you know, clawing your way to health.
00:37:30:15 - 00:37:34:03
It's about knowing right now
you have health.
00:37:34:17 - 00:37:37:11
Right now you want more health.
00:37:37:11 - 00:37:41:21
How are you going to get get more health
even if I have to?
00:37:41:21 - 00:37:43:06
Oh, we’ve got another question.
00:37:43:06 - 00:37:45:09
And then we do have to wrap it up.
00:37:46:01 - 00:37:49:01
Thank you so much for all of this
amazing information.
00:37:49:01 - 00:37:51:23
I had a question
specifically about the program itself.
00:37:52:20 - 00:37:56:12
I was unaware that it's a year long program
and very excited,
00:37:57:16 - 00:37:59:06
to know that now.
00:37:59:06 - 00:38:02:08
And I'm already enrolled to be present
00:38:02:08 - 00:38:05:11
for Wednesday morning to become an initiate,
00:38:05:19 - 00:38:07:10
and I’m excited.
00:38:07:22 - 00:38:11:16
But I would like a more comprehensive
00:38:11:16 - 00:38:15:05
understanding of what I should expect
as far as like over the year.
00:38:15:16 - 00:38:17:16
I heard you give a high level overview.
00:38:17:16 - 00:38:18:12
If you could just give me
00:38:18:12 - 00:38:22:10
a little bit more details about that,
I would really appreciate it.
00:38:22:14 - 00:38:23:20
Absolutely. Thank you.
00:38:23:20 - 00:38:26:20
So in this very first program,
00:38:26:20 - 00:38:29:17
you're going to be,
00:38:29:17 - 00:38:32:22
initiated into understanding
00:38:33:15 - 00:38:36:03
where your beliefs come from,
00:38:36:03 - 00:38:41:09
and you're going to identify a belief
that does not serve you.
00:38:41:16 - 00:38:46:07
We're going to give you a neuro strategic
technique to help you blow through it,
00:38:46:12 - 00:38:50:05
and then help you visualize your life
without it.
00:38:50:14 - 00:38:54:06
Future pace success for yourself.
00:38:54:17 - 00:38:57:21
And then we are going to give you
00:38:57:21 - 00:39:01:21
some of the basics of mental projection
00:39:02:18 - 00:39:06:06
as we move forward
into the apprentice level.
00:39:06:13 - 00:39:09:18
We're going to start to to focus on people
00:39:09:18 - 00:39:12:19
who need to make sales in their business.
00:39:13:11 - 00:39:18:02
We're going to, talk about the six
components of effective communication.
00:39:18:07 - 00:39:21:02
We're going to talk
about your value structure.
00:39:21:02 - 00:39:26:16
And we're going to to go deeper
into these mindfulness techniques,
00:39:26:21 - 00:39:31:19
mindfulness trainings to help
you build your mind as a muscle.
00:39:32:23 - 00:39:34:08
When we get together
00:39:34:08 - 00:39:37:23
in March, it's
going to be a three day training.
00:39:38:05 - 00:39:43:01
And this is where we are able to do things
00:39:43:01 - 00:39:46:17
that are deeper and heavier for you.
00:39:47:00 - 00:39:49:20
Things like conflict resolution,
00:39:49:20 - 00:39:53:19
things like parts integration,
where, for example,
00:39:53:19 - 00:39:59:11
you maybe part of you
feels like you want to build a business
00:39:59:16 - 00:40:04:05
and you have everything that you need to
to build it,
00:40:04:11 - 00:40:08:12
and part of you feels like
you're taking away from your family.
00:40:08:18 - 00:40:10:17
You're taking away from your children.
00:40:10:17 - 00:40:12:22
You're taking away from your spouse.
00:40:12:22 - 00:40:16:14
And we we use neuro strategic techniques
00:40:16:14 - 00:40:22:08
to help you realize that point
where those two parts of you
00:40:22:12 - 00:40:28:22
actually are congruent
to resolve those, those conflicts,
00:40:28:22 - 00:40:33:05
and we need more time with you
in order to do that deeper work.
00:40:33:08 - 00:40:36:21
And so that's
why we're coming together for three days
00:40:37:03 - 00:40:41:09
so that, some of the things that, that,
that Vernon is going to show you, he's
00:40:41:09 - 00:40:45:05
going to show you how to, to establish
00:40:45:05 - 00:40:49:14
a connection between your conscious
and your unconscious mind.
00:40:49:19 - 00:40:55:01
You may have heard
of the concept of the monkey,
00:40:55:12 - 00:40:58:12
the man, the writer, and the elephant
00:40:58:16 - 00:41:02:19
and the monkey being in the tree,
running all over the place.
00:41:02:23 - 00:41:08:11
The man wants to go to the beach and
the elephant wants to go to the mountain.
00:41:08:18 - 00:41:10:15
Where do you think
that man is going to go?
00:41:11:16 - 00:41:13:08
He's not going to the beach.
00:41:13:08 - 00:41:16:06
If the elephant once the elephant being
00:41:16:06 - 00:41:20:02
his unconscious,
his mind wants to go to the mountain.
00:41:20:05 - 00:41:24:16
The man being the conscious mind
wants to go to the beach.
00:41:24:21 - 00:41:27:19
And the monkey is in the tree turning
00:41:27:19 - 00:41:30:19
to the man saying, you suck.
00:41:30:19 - 00:41:31:18
And the.
00:41:31:18 - 00:41:34:00
And the podcast host is saying,
we're running.
00:41:34:00 - 00:41:35:06
Out of time.
00:41:35:06 - 00:41:36:12
So please stick.
00:41:36:12 - 00:41:38:06
(laughter)
00:41:38:17 - 00:41:39:20
So you will find out
00:41:39:20 - 00:41:43:23
more as you, ascend in the program.
00:41:43:23 - 00:41:47:16
And I have to say,
I wish we weren't running out of time
00:41:47:16 - 00:41:51:06
because this I could listen to all day.
00:41:51:07 - 00:41:52:13
We could go on all day.
00:41:52:13 - 00:41:55:11
And it's it's so fascinating to me.
00:41:55:11 - 00:41:59:07
But I wish you two the absolute best
with this program.
00:41:59:07 - 00:42:00:21

00:42:00:21 - 00:42:03:21
because you've already programed it
